I wish you saw yourself as beautiful as I see you!

Taking a peek in Papa bear's school bag

Love the cloth diaper peekaboo

She doesn't really for those jammies.

Here's Fearless's bear who apparently needed her neck tightened.

The aches of teething are here.

This girl goes through moments like these while one of the last molars pops through.

No fun.

At least her sippy cup is a good teething devise!

Her eyes are turning hazel. Sorry Papa Bear.

The other day I glanced in the mirror and jumped. I had forgotten Little man wanted to store his blanket under my fleece.

Only this year have I enjoyed watching reruns of football games. Here's Papa Bear and I relaxing after the kids are asleep and watching a great ending to a fun game!

Little Man checking out a delivery truck.

The truck was suppose to deliver a massive mirror. They couldn't locate it so we wait another day for another big truck to arrive!

Polar Bean's ant farm is progressing. Tunnels are being made!

The break so far

I have nearly 500 pictures on my phone. Here are some of the keepers!

Fearless & Scoob having a deep conversation about the bathtub

Little Man helping Scoob have clean hair.

Polar Bean got his ants for the farm earlier this week!

Christmas morning breakfast feast

Fearless found her hidden animal.

Polar Bean did too , on top of the nutcracker's hat.

Little Man running away from the paparazzi.

Fearless ensuring Scoob can see the seals and sailboats.

Polar Bean found a good climbing tree and the others followed suit.

Heard by my ears

Little man throwing his blanket in the air, "I'm going to have my blanky forever!!"

Me: "Well I don't think you'll have it in college."

Little Man: "You aren't allowed to bring your blanky to college?"

Me: "I don't think so."

Little Man: "I'll keep it in the car."

Later on...

Polar bean: "Little man, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Little man: "A taxi driver."

Polar bean: "Hey! Me too!"

One of a kind

Sweatband, button down, sweats, onesie, binoculars, whistle and crocs.

Only these two.

Heard by my ears

Papa Bear: "We need to wash your hands."

Fearless: "They are clean! I licked them."

Tuesdays Unwrapped

Like most people in our situation, we are renters. And this house has some awesome qualities and some quirks. Many quirks reveal themselves at poor times like the towel rack just falling to the floor during a shower. Or this bathroom cabinet door. Papa Bear has fixed this door countless time and we're not really sure why it keeps breaking on us. We could call in the owner's handyman...but I think that's more trouble than it's worth.

And so as I walked into the bathroom for the umpteenth time and saw the door hanging like this, I took a deep breath and thought about it. Why was it frustrating me? Could I use this as a reminder of how I am? I sometimes seem all put together and doing fine. Then suddenly the door swings open and unhinges.

So thank you God, for the unhinged door that reminds me we're all a little broken and we all really need you....the ultimate handyman.

More of the Old Man's Party

Uncle & Aunt J helped the kids makes super cool icicles
and even created paper trains.

Check out Little Man's gray curly locks!

Grannies

Papa Bear is still as handsome as ever with his silver speckled hair!

One grumpy old man & his elderly wife

The kids started using J & J's nice camera and this is what happened...

Fearless is Miss Poser.

Smart old boy

Photo bomber Uncle J

This is us in 40 years!

I can't wait to have been married 40+ years with this guy!

Old and going blind together, what are sisters for?!

Mr. Birthday Boy was anti-papparazzi but tickling was a good trick that worked!

Mustache banner, thanks to Aunt J

His own hot tea mug

The old family

We kept telling him to look up so instead of his eyes
going up, it was his chin.

Chocolate mustache cake.

Happy old man birthday party Mr. 3 year old!

Short but sweet weekend visit

Uncle J reading one of our favorite books.

Early morning schnuggles

Hiked at a local state park

Then went to one of our favorite beaches

Despite the 50 degrees weather, Scoob splashed in the water the whole time.

We saw seals, whales and otters.

Papa Bear saw a marriage proposal happen here!

Preparing for our old man party!

What's better than one pair of glasses?
3 pairs!

Hours of fun!

A future photographer in the works...

We sprayed our hair gray and white and wore glasses and drank tea and ate scones with our old soul Little Man.

More pictures to come later...

Mustache cake!

Exhausted Polar Bean at the end of the night.

More pictures to come later!
